Here it is March already! The 1st Quarter of 2010 is passing us by. We're so ready for spring. Bruce is already trying to sneak in as much fishing as he can. We've had a couple of beautiful days so far and Kaitlyn loves a cool breeze in her face! It makes her giggle.
March 6th we celebrated Kaitlyn's Baptism at Saint Bartholomew. That's the same church Bruce and I married in and Deacon Gary Brooks, who married us, also baptized her.
We chose Angela Gill and Mike, my brother as Kaitlyn's Godparents. Godparents in the eyes of the Catholic church are chosen to make sure Kaitlyn is raised Catholic and if something should happen to us, they are there to maintain that she is taught about the Grace of God in accordance to our wishes. Therefore, Godparents are required to be practicing Catholics as well. I am the Godparent to Angela's youngest daughter Anna and my neice Mackenzie, Mike's youngest.
Kaitlyn was the only baby who didn't cry when she was baptized. She was one of 6 babies to be christened during the ceremony.
